Happy 57th Anniversary, Mama and Daddy! Rest in peace…rest in power.

Reflection
~I’m celebrating my Mama and Daddy today. Here they are…my Father giving my Mother a surprise birthday party, bringing out her amazing dimples and sparkling personality. I remember that day and so many others…filled with good memories of life, love, and laughter. I cherish these times because my parents were good people. They left quite a legacy of faith, hope, and love…doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. They were united in their belief that “we the people” could and would form a more perfect union.
Observation
~Memories can bring pain especially when tragedy is involved. It’s challenging to find the joy but we must. I’ve learned to celebrate and honor my parents. Today is special…it’s their 57th wedding anniversary. I’m grateful to be in a much better place…so I can remember and celebrate them.
Happy Anniversary, Mama and Daddy! Thank YOU for everything you did to make sure we know what it means to be a good person…living our lives according to Maat. To The Creator be the glory, honor, thanks, and praise for your steadfast commitment, determination, and perseverance. I’ll always be blessed to be your daughter.
