I was surrounded by the wealth of difference. Age. Gender. Race. Zip Code. Income. Status. Ethnicity. Education. I was surrounded by people who are making a difference. I was surrounded by wealth today. Caring. Compassion. Willing to dialogue. Willing to listen. We discussed what we must do to help those less fortunate. I was surrounded by wealth today. Those who will take action. Doers. They implement. Vote. Legislate. Donate. Fundraise. I was surrounded by wealth today. I was blessed to be surrounded by people who are committed. Determined. Persistent. Consistent. Be a voice for the people who seem to have no voice. I was surrounded by wealth today. People who know their why, passion, and purpose. They are fearless and relentless. Their focus is impeccable. They are serving, using their time, talents, and treasures to be the change we need to see.

Sometimes, I sit back and wonder what’s next. I know that whatever it is, The Creator is making a way. We discussed our part…that cry for help…we must raise our hands…volunteer, work for pay…be prepared, do what it takes to create necessary change.
